2020 FEDERAL INCOME TAX DUE DATES

The IRS filing deadlines are as follows for 2019 returns:

PASS-THROUGH ENTITIES – S-CORPORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS (FORMS 1120S/1065)

Due Date: March 16, 2020
Extension Date: September 15, 2020

CORPORATIONS – C-CORPORATIONS (FORMS 1120)

Due Date: April 15, 2020 Extended to July 15th 2020
Extension Date: October 15, 2020 Extended to January 15th 2021

INDIVIDUALS – PERSONAL (FORMS 1040 / SCH. C) 

Due Date: April 15, 2020 Extended to July 15th 2020
Extension Date: October 15, 2020 Extended to January 15th 2021

NOTE: The above dates are based on the calendar year tax filing.  If your tax year end is not 12/31, then the deadlines are as follows:

Pass-Through Entities – 15th day of the 3rd month after year end
C-Corporations – 15th day of the 4th month after year end, Extended 90 days
